Today's card features a very chubby Newton from the Newton's Thanksgiving stamp set. I colored him with Copic markers. (Poor guy!  It looks like he is about to pop!) I placed him and another slice of pie on a tag that was die cut using the Tags Essential die set and paper from the Autumn Woofs paper pad.  For my back panel, I used paper from the  Autumn paper pad and used the scallop-edged frame die from the Frames & Flags die sets. I add a bit of ribbon and twine from my stash of ribbons. Anyone else ready for some pumpkin pie?

I finally had time to play with one of the newly released Autumn products-the Autumn Fields stamp set. This little scarecrow is just so cute!  I then select papers from the Autumn and the Autumn Meows paper pads. I love the colors on the pumpkin paper, so I decided to color the scarecrow in the same palette.  The little bit of teal with the oranges--love it!  I cut the pumpkin paper with the postage-edge die from the Framework die set. For my tag, I cut the hounds tooth paper using the Fancy Edges die set. I assembled the card then added the stitched circle (Circle Frames die set) which I had stamped the sentiment from the Pumpkin Tails set.  I love all the textures in this pretty autumn card!

I lightly distressed the background in blue before using the Evergreens stencil. I then added some pink snowflakes using the Petite Snow stencil. I angled this panel atop the pink-polka dotted paper from the Pastel Basics paper pad. I stamped and colored using Copic markers the sweet feline from the  Snow Angel Newton stamp set. I added this image with some 3D foam tape. The red sentiment is from the Heartfelt Holidays stamp set.

Don't you love when a card turns out cuter than you imagined! This is one of those! I started by subtly adding pink snowflakes using the Snowflake stencil. I don't use stencils nearly enough! Then I stamped the feline image from the Newton's Christmas Tree stamp set. I used my Scan'n'Cut to cut it out, but there's a coordinating die option available. I then used Copic markers to color the image in the challenge colors. . I heat embossed the sentiment from the Snowflake Oval. At last, I added 3D tape to give dimension to the tree image.

I created a fun birthday card using the Confetti stencil with papers from the Pastel Basics paper pad. I colorsed all those packages from the Sky High Celebrations stamp set in the colors of the challenge. At last, I added the birthday sentiment from the Dog Birthday Party stamp set. A super cute way to celebrate one's special day!

I created this fun card using googly eyes!  When I spied the "eyes" paper from the Halloween Time paper pad, I got the idea to make a card using googly eyes. I die cut the paper using the zig-zag die from the Frames & Tags die set. I adhered the paper to a dark lavender card base. I then used the Jar Hot Foil Plate & Die with a fuschia foil. I used a die from the Basic Frames die set to create the open center. I continued to make my shaker card by filling it with some different sized eyes. I cut a tag using the  Frames & Tags die set. I did trim it down once I added the "price" using a stamp from the Birthday Postage Sampler stamp set. I adhered the tag using some twine. At last, I made the banner using the Banner Trio die set with a sentiment from the Spooky Roundabout stamp set. I love how this turned out!

I'm still in a fall mood, but I promise that next week I'll create a Halloween card for you!  

This week I'm showing a cute card using some scraps from the Autumn Meows and the  Autumn paper pads. I pulled 6 different patterns and cut them into small strips that I adhered to a piece of card stock. I then used a die from the Basic Frames die set to get the stiching and rounded corners. The using a different die from the same die set, I cut the Kraft panel. I used dimensional tape to add the smaller panel. I then stamped, colored, and cut the little puppy image from the Fall Harvest stamp set. I used my Scan'n'Cut, but a coordinating die set is available. I then stamped the sentiment from the Leaf Splendor stamp set using my Misti tool. At last, I cut the leaf paper strip and adhered to my dark brown cardbase and added the smaller panel.  I love all the different patterns and autumn colors on this card, and it was a great way to use up some smaller scraps.

I had a bit of creative block this week, so I decided to use a sketch to help me through it.  This darling card is the result. I cut brown cardstock down to 5 1/4 x 4 inches and attached to a Kraft card base. I then used the measurements of the sketch (see below) and cut the different elements using papers from the Autumn Meows. After arranging those pieces, I stamp and colored using Copic markers the cute image from the Paw-tumn Newton stamp set. I used my Scan 'n' Cut to cut my image, but a coordinating die is available too. I stamped my sentiment from the  Fall Roundabout stamp set and cut it into a rectangle.  I then created the polka dotted banner using papers from the Autumns Woofs paper pads with a die from the  Banner Trio die set.

I am loving the Layout dies from Newton's Nook. They make designing cards a bit easier, yet still allow for creativity! I used the  Card Layout 3 die with the pumpkin paper from the Autumn paper pad. I stamped the kitty image from the  Fall Harvest stamp set and colored with copic markers. I used my Scan'n'Cut to cut out the image, but there are coordinating dies. I added more pumpkins using an image from the Paw-tumn Newton stamp set.  At last, I used a brown panel from the Card Layout 3 die for my embossed sentiment. At last, I have a pumpkin patch card!

Using the Card Layout 4 die is a super easy way to create a scene card, especially using pattern papers. My card is showcasing papers from the Halloween Party paper pad with yellow glitter paper from the  Cheerful Brights Glitter Cardstock stack. I layered on a little haunted house using the Haunted House die. Of course, a haunted house needs some guest, so I added the little vampire and ghost using images from the Trick or Treat Newton and the Trick or Treat Puppy stamp sets. The good news is I have more pieces to mix and match for more fun, festive Halloween cards!  (Hopefully, I can get those whipped up soon!)
